Ok thanks for straightening that out! Next question is the whole weapon speed only thing? First off, what does OIAS stand for, and is the basic gist of it only the speed of my weapon dictates how many frames? Aka all other ias isn’t necessary?

In werewolf form you want IAS only from weapon. IAS from clothes helps when you use very slow weapon. For example you try to use eth Death Decapitator, which has no IAS at all, you will have 9-frame attack, if you add 20% IAS from your other equipment, you can achieve next BP - 8 frame. But futher increacing is useless according to Speed Calculator. Anyway you shouldn't use on Wolf weapon which attacks slower than 6 frame! In that case speed counts only from Weapon IAS.

Yep, this. Only other reason to use oias is if you aren't using cannot be frozen and want your attack speed to remain constant.

The place where Cryptic Sword and Scourge can shine is on max damage possibilities.

With the same ed% as in the above example, you would have 9162 max damage with the CS or 9359 max with a Scourge. With a fools Seraph Rod you'd have 7213 max damage.

So CS and Scourge have a better damage range - meaning you can hit for more than 18000 damage with both vs 14000 with a Seraph. 1530 vs 1190 dmg in melee PvP. Could help with FHR and a couple of max hits could wrap up the duel. So if you can't find or afford a Seraph or Ettin, CS and Scourge may do worse on average but they have more chance of double damage and a lot higher maximum damage possibilities. If luck is on your side...

I read somewhere that fanged knife > pb, even though knife need shael shael and pb can use 2 * 40/15. Because of the 0,75 str/dex stat add vs the 1,0 str add.

So i put it to the excel test and was amazed:
380ed/70ias/20max/20min/fools eth pb
vs
300ed/80ias/20max/20min/fools eth fanged knife
Using 200str/220dex as stats.
The pb landed on 7,5kish If i remeber correct
Meanwhile
The fanged landed on 11,5kish If i remember correct.
Avg dmg was calculated. 9sks and forgot to add dmg from 322s who would make even higher difference.
Thats a huge difference!

Yep, FKs benefit from both strength and dexterity. Phase blades only benefit from strength.

Also, FKs need 75% ias, so a shael and 40/15, not two shaels.

Okay thanks for info, should be even more difference between them then.
Also by using a higher dmg rare instead of fools would give even greater diff between them :P

Yep, you can't beat a FK for 4 frame damage.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet. One of my favorite builds is CFKoQ (or even Fury runeword for 5f) + Phoenix Mon + Shaftstop + Bloodfist/Guill/Gores/etc + MAX dex. Cast HoW. This build is good enough to compete with zealots.

Back when I played Bnet, bottom & dupes made it easy enough to keep an expendable supply of eth Fury FKs. Not really "GM" though.

Storm and fort are generally a lot better than shaft/phoenix because of block rate and firestorm attack interruption.
