Well you're not going to change a whole lot with defense. You could use a jewelers armor for a ton of life and extra attack rating. You'll have like 1500 defense. You could probably get to 3500 defense with 2 sock eth rep armor (24 fhr is your best bet probably). Honestly the difference is only like a 2% less chance to hit though. When chilling goes off on fort it makes a more dramatic effect on your opponent's chance to hit. You can't really make up for that.

Thoughts on this armor?

I've been looking for one for like a year and didn't realize one even existed. I'd pair it with a high max dmg weapon like a scourge or cryptic sword, would be ok with a zerk as well.

To be honest, 4 framers generally perform better vs zeal even if you have an insane 5 framer. Their life is low enough that just hitting them through their defense is more important than how hard you hit (assuming you’re using an eth rep or eth pb at minimum).
