Nice, you were right. They sentenced Tippet to the Edmonton Oilers high risk institution for 3 years, but I think he can get out early for good conduct time.

Apparently canucks had something with loloilers for swapping eriksson for lucic, but eriksson denied the trade since he didn't wanna go Edm. Finally eriksson doing something right for the Canucks for 36mil.

7 of 12 seasons DIDNT score 20 goals.
Has been on the decline, has played 127 more games and 72 less goals and 13 less points .

Even if the oilers did retain some salary in the deal they will have most likely won this trade outright. Fresh starts for both. You now have an absolute pure finisher on one of Mcdavids or Nuges wing, congrats holland!

The real win is when we are logisticaly able to buyout Neal next off season.
The reason he was bad last year is his lack of foot speed finally caught up to him between his age and the new fast paced league.
He does have have better hands so hopefully fewer plays in the o zone die on his stick than lucics.
