The reason he was bad last year is his lack of foot speed finally caught up to him between his age and the new fast paced league.
He does have have better hands so hopefully fewer plays in the o zone die on his stick than lucics.

Could be. Those totals are from years ago and the Neal from last year is here now. Foot speed was always his weakness and this is what happens to slow players in this NHL they expire faster than other players.

He’s easily capable of playing in NHL , there was pretty much no level of play he could have shown to stick with the big team and that is a good thing finally.
