well broken bones usually take like 4-6 weeks to heal (no idea about jaws just kind of assuming here)
hes got almost 2 weeks til start of season he might be able to play with a cage by then or only miss a few before he can
e: and he is an nhler they get like best of the best care for shit like that and they usualy come back early from most injuries vs an average person
e2: shit if he lost some teeth he might even look more like a hockey player
