Blues have been aggressively shopping their late 1sts, wouldn't be surprised if these picks are involved with one good roster player coming over along with Hayes.

Also rumored that Krug may be involved and the Flyers are trying to find a 3rd team to flip him to, which may be causing the holdup.

Per multiple sources with direct knowledge of the negotiations, the rebuilding Flyers — who already shipped out No. 1 defenseman Ivan Provorov earlier this month — planned to send Hayes and defenseman Travis Sanheim to the Blues in the deal. Philadelphia would be retaining a “significant” portion of Hayes’ $7.14 million cap hit for the next three seasons in the trade in order to make the financials more palatable to St. Louis.
The Flyers, per NHL rules, can retain up to 50 percent of Hayes’ cap hit in each of his remaining years.
Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the trade negotiations told The Athletic that a Blues defenseman was supposed to go to the Flyers along with a first-round pick in exchange for Hayes (with retention) and Sanheim. One of the sources said the Blues player invoked his no-trade clause, and as a result, the future of the deal is unclear.

yeah i thought i updated it with that info guess i only did the discord
but yeah the athletic says parayko faulk leddy were not asked to waive and scandella has a modified NTC with a list and flyers aren't on it so he would have no power to veto the trade
that leaves krug but it was funny i went to the roster to see who it was and they got 5 guys with NTC its like well shit that doesn't narrow it down haha

Jets and Kings working on a PLD trade. Word is that Villardi and Iaffalo are going the other way.

more than what dubois is worth in my eyes, villardi had a breakout year, Dubois player with 2 solid players the whole season and got up to 63 points

i like the player but i feel that if this is the deal, jets are going to get a decent return for pld
rumor was that montreal offered dvorak, anderson, beck and florida 1st round this year for pld

I'm not high on PLD whatsoever but that's a garbage offer from the Habs if true lol

Although if I was the Habs, I wouldn't offer much either.
