Screwed either way. Terrible trade. Trade 3 shit contracts that were due to expire in a year along with a 1st and 2nd round pick for an albatross contract that has no crippled this team for years + you Still have Garland who is overpaid for what he does.

It was cuz of Sutter, but some wanna retract their trade request cuz he's gone now. However to those that haven't retracted, they wanna trade em while they have value rather than risk another gaudreau situation

Partly we just have a billion ufas, and after the Gaudreau disaster the Flames are making players sign during the summer or get moved for any sort of return at all now.
