My guess is they want to lower his salary down from 6 million and he was insulted.

He has been a consistent second line center but is not an elite player.

What is that worth? Maybe somewhere between 4.5 - 6.5 million.

He has been with the team for 10 years and has had virtually no playoff success. Perhaps he is just looking to leave.

He couldn't even hold his center position and became a winger in place of a rookie haha.

He cant seem to drive his own line, so when mcdavid and Drais are stacked together, there's barely any help from his line. When Drais is centering the 2nd line, yama and rnh both produce but that hits mcdavid

Im scared Benning will offer 6+x6 to rnh if he goes fa. not a player we need tbh I rather he spend that kinda money on danault. He would be so worth it playing the shutdown role and Horvat would finally stop being abused
