We have let him walk pretty much , it was pretty clear before the deadline contracts talks where going nowhere. All in all as good of all round player he is for 6 mil he’s not what the oilers need.

Jones is a very good player, but analytically always shown the opposite especially for a 1d/2

Also makes no sense to pay that much when there's Hughes. With that kinda money I rather he spend on 2 defensive minded dmen which the Canucks desperately need.
