It makes perfect sense, as we saw Gannon run zone and a scheme that should fit him perfectly. He lines up with a top tier CB opposite of him already and a good slot corner next to him as well. This was such a big area of need considering the rest of the defense is shaping up nicely, glad they addressed it!!
