What do you guys think DeVonta will do this year as the #2?

A lot of people discount our offense because we ran so much down the stretch. I think they will try to pass a lot to start this year just like they did last year, and if Hurts can't handle it, they will probably go back to that run heavy scheme. I know DeVonta has the skill to be an awesome #2 receiver, but I'm unsure if stats will reflect that if our offense doesn't pass a lot. Goedert will get his targets too.. hard to know what to expect out of our offense this year because they changed their offensive philosophy in season last year essentially and that would dictate the numbers these guys put up this upcoming season. Hopefully Hurts learns to read the defenses better, and can be a better pocket passer at times this year. If we are succeeding in a pass heavy scheme, gotta think Quez puts up some solid numbers as well.

It’s tough but I think I’d have to go with what we did. Hopefully the moves work out in the long term

Say they did go with Wilson. How does the team around him look? Would they actually be ready to win something with just him and the pieces that were already here..not sure about that

Would have sacrificed a lot of long term building for a few years with a chance at a chip and it probably would have been a long shot at best

I expect at least 900+yards. He's a 1000 yard WR easily but with more mouths to feed he may not get to that mark

Could've easily broke 1000 last year had the offense not been so run heavy and Hurts consistently hit him when he was open. Film frequently showed him winning his 1on1's but the ball not being thrown his way. He's a 1B to Brown and with AJ's presence it'll only help Smitty (and the entire offense)
