Didn't think to take pice before and now the crabs are steamed and half gone

Went to gulf shores for vacation, set 2x crab traps with father in-law yesterday evening, this morning had 23 in them that were 5in+(only had throw like 5 back.

Had no idea crabbing was so easy, litterally dropped 2 traps with a heavy rock and couple chicken legs in them with a gallon jug tied off to it for location purposes for less than 12hr.

Crazy thing is, we waded out into some cut in the bay about 50 yards..... someone told me 100% no way gators in this water so I was cool with walking with raw chicken in waist deep water....

Saw a fucking gator when we went to go get the traps, well on the way back to the shore with the traps..... I was friggin walking at night thru a gator pond with raw chicken inhand..... least the crab was good

Australian barramundi, its a cousin of the nile perch, caught it on a live mullet on a 6/0 gamakatsu circle hook, 20 lb braid and 40 lb jenkai leader on a 6-8 kg ugly stick gold with an abu garcia 6500 c4 overhead.
Fought hard :)
