Squatted with a combo rack today for the first time in years.

175.5kg for 6x5. Absolutely terrifying on the first set, felt sketchy as fuck.

Gonna have to figure out these racks again if I’m planning on doing a meet soon.

Lack of safeties is the scary part?

I dont mind them, but after using a power cage thats bolted to the floor and doesnt wobble at all .... a combo rack feels like ass

Nah, it's not really the safeties.. It's more of the wobble and that it's not facing a wall. Literally all minus two times in the past, I'm used to blank staring through a wall, so finding proprioception can be a bitch.

It went good tho.

Strength block just started, pulling on some purdy eleiko kilo plates.

Worked up to 220 for 1x3 and down to 185.5 for 5x3. Really focusing on form and trying to lock it down. Seems like I’ve been pretty consistent in my pulls.
