Been watching a bit of their scrimmage games and I'm loving what I'm seeing from Dustin May, Seager, Rios, Stripling, Corey Taylor, etc.

I was hoping to see more from Cody Thomas after he lit it up in Spring before Corona but the outfield depth for the Dodgers is pretty hard to compete against at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised if he's traded somewhere and finds success or ends up with the team after some injuries.

Puig tested positive for COVID, apparently will not sign with the Braves after all.

I wish there was a world where he could come back to the Dodgers but don't see it happening :/.

Gavin Lux was demoted today.

He definitely didn't seem tuned in in either the scrimmages or the game last night, sailed an easy through to first and apparently isn't hitting. It's all good, he'll get up to speed eventually.

Oh well how about them scores though. Preseason or not they ready.

Definitely have the luxury to not have to worry about their offense at all.

Already put up 5 runs on Anaheim.

Betts is apparently signing a giant contract for 13 years for $380 million or some shit. Crazy. Right when that trade was announced I had this sinking feeling he'd walk and we would lose out on the whole exchange, especially after this Corona shit started and it seemed like 2020 might be lost outright.

As it stands I'm happy to have him locked up. Apparently the Dodgers have no commitments beyond the 2022 season so signing some of their other guys is obviously of huge importance. I hope they lock up Buehler long-term first and then maybe Bellinger and Seagar next. I imagine they'll lose at least one of the guys who've been solid to this current unit but they have so much depth someone will probably get plugged in and excel. I personally want to see Cody Thomas get a chance, maybe once Joc leaves.

That’s a lot of money for someone who will be 42ish by the time contract will be over.

Surprised they did sign him long term; Dodgers are known to hate giving out long contracts.
