I really don’t think GMO is our best option at thre #2 receiver spot. Jordy is probably still faster. Having the slowest receiver core in the nfl the past few years hasn’t been working out very well
Fitzgerald is a good example of what jordy could be. Learning a new offense doesn’t matter when you have the chemistry he already had with Rodgers, they’d literally have their own plays.
Kukerow probably just a jeff Janis in the making but we can hope for another jordy
After the opening four games, Allison was on pace for 76 receptions, 1,156 yards, and eight touchdowns. Outside of Davante Adams, no other Packers pass-catcher managed that level of production at any point in 2018.
That was before he went down with the groin injury. I think you may be underestimating GMO a little bit man. Jordy is not faster imo & he can’t create separation anymore like he used to. He had 1 good game last year and did essentially nothing outside of that. And that was with a terrible Raiders receiving corpse. He had games where he didn’t even see any targets. Again, I know it’s Carr & the Raiders but still..
I understand Jordy and Rodgers would still have their solid chemistry, but idk.. I just think we go with Adams, GMO and MVS in the slot. I wouldn’t be apposed to bringing Jordy back, but we have bigger fish to fry imo
e: we will also be using far more 2 TE sets and running the ball more as well so.
