If going by your initial plan drive to the river rock and head north towards Vancouver on the skytrain. Bridgeport station is right beside the Casino.

Stick to the right of the main entrance and follow signs to Waterfront Vancouver. Do not enter a train that says Richmond Brighouse or YVR and you will be fine. These trains head back into Richmond and go towards the airport, which you obviously do not want.

You do not need to transfer to any other skytrain. Just stay on the Canada line. You can get off at any station in Downtown Vancouver and be within a 15 minute walking distance to Gm Place, Do not go to B.C place (the larger stadium).

Isnt there a train that drops you off right next to Rogers?

I'm prob planning on getting on the train around 3-330 from the Casino

If you wanted to you could take the Canada line (the initial train you will be getting on from Bridgeport/Riverock Casino station) to the final stop on that train, which is Waterfront station.

From there you could transfer to the expo line, which is the oldest train we have and is red/white in color and get off at the Stadium Chinatown station. The expo line (yellow, blue, and gray) could also get you there but I would avoid that because if you fuck up you will be in the burbs before you know it.

You would be a few minutes from the stadium if you took this route, however the time to transfer trains will pretty much eliminate any time gained from doing this.

It is best to keep it simple so you don't get stressed out trying to find your way. If you are on the train by 3 30 you will arrive downtown before 4. This will leave you plenty of time to find your way and explore/get a drink or food before the game begins.

You will have no problems at all man. I guarantee it.

yes but it's on another line. from Bridgeport, you take the train until you reach Vancouver City Center. From there you either walk 10-15 minutes to the arena or you transfer across the street to Granville station, then you take the train a station over to Stadium-Chinatown that leaves you next to the arena.

Waterfront to Brighouse/YVR is the Canada Line (the one you'll be starting at)
Waterfront to King George/Production Way is the Expo/Millenium Line (if you choose to transfer)

you explain it better lol.

Either way I think it is less complicated to just stay on the initial train and walk.

You will have more than enough time to do so.

I have no problems walking at all, the first few Canucks games I went to the last 2 years I stayed at the Victorian Hotel and we just walked the 10-15 minutes to the arena.

Last game I went to in March I stayed at the Sandman Hotel which is legit a 3 minute walk to the arena.

I know my way around walking, just getting on a train system in a different country not knowing where I'm going is stressing me out.

So basically I get on at the Casino in Richmond and take it down to Vancouver City Centre and just walk?

edit:

what am i looking at there? this is saying i have to transfer?
