Best thing to do is to drive to the River Rock Casino in Richmond, which is right by Brighouse station. Richmond is south of Vancouver

Parking is very cheap and the Skytrain from there to downtown is only ~ 20 minutes. I think you can get parking there for $3 - Special event parking downtown will be at least $30 so there is a difference if you want to save some cash.


If coming from the United States take highway 99 north and you will see signs for Richmond.

There is an exit off that highway that is pretty close to the casino and the skytrain station I mentioned earlier.

If you get on the Oak Street bridge you have gone too far.

I'd rather pay $3 for parking than $30, trying to go to more games this year, i know for sure i'm going on Nov 16 to the Av's game, thats a win win for me.

But it's so much more affordable going to games when you dont pay for a hotel lol

No problem at all!

Skytrain will be a 1 zone pass which will be ~ $4 to get there and to come back it will be a one zone ticket which is ~ $3. Transit is discounted after 6:30 pm so coming back only needs one zone.

If you plan to come early and make a day out of it I think they sell day passes at the skytrain station as well which would probably be about 10 bucks for the entire day.

well the 16th i would be getting through the border until 5pm is probably my guess.

but still $7 for skypass, $3 parking, $30 ticket and $30 tank of gas

get a cheap 3rd level ticket, few beers, and have fun

i went last year and paid $133 for a ticket 14 rows up from the glass vs the Sens in March, that wasnt terrible but hotel included that trip was over $500 for one game lol

Next time. 😂 That Airbnb in Richmond I stayed at was like $60 for the night. Locked entrance, small and clean. Perfect for a one nighter

its only a 2 hour drive home at night that late, id rather just drive home
