:hail: ¡¡¡HALA MADRID!!! :hail:

La decimocuarta is coming home!

Champions once again... being undefeaed in the last 8 finals we played is just insane. Very tough game, but fortunately not as sweaty as the previous ones... what a crazy run we've had in this tournament, we will never forget it. It's a beautiful ending after facing 4 teams that were better on paper, the f¡rst three of which where filthy oil/gas backed plastic clubs. Nothing but respect for Liverpool though... they are a very likeable club with a very likeable fanbase, squad and manager. They played well, and I hope to see them again in other CL finals soon.

One of the single most ridiculous runs to a championship, any sports team in the world has ever had.

I've see underdogs scrape their way to victory, like Chelsea in 2012, Greece in 2004 and Portugal in 2016 to name a few. Usually those runs include some 1-0 victories and penalty shoot outs with a solid defensive performance and a lot of luck. I don't think I've ever heard of or seen a team get completely destroyed for 95-99% of 180-210 minute ties, yet still win by outscoring their opponents on aggregate. Surely this has never happened before?

Very well said my friend, I couldn't be happier. I was shaking around minute 80, those damn minutes went by so slow!

HUGE performance by Courtois, Carvajal and Valverde had the games of their lives and even Toni was playing better than he had all season.

It's simple. CL = Real's competition B) <3

Well, Marcelo is our captain, so he was going to lift it regardless. He confirmed today what was expected: he's leaving the club

He's an absolute legend. He has become the player with the most titles in Real Madrid's history, with 25, leaving Gento's previous record of 23 behind. And not only that, he is such a fantastic person with a very likeable character... he will definitely be missed. Honestly, when he arrived at the club, nobody expected he would become a worthy successor of Roberto Carlos, and yet there he is, 15.5 years later, leaving the fans debating on who is our greatest all time LB.

And yes, Benzema has been amazing this season, and without a doubt the overall hero of this CL run :hail:

Regarding Mallorca, YES, another great reason for me to enjoy this football season. I moved back to Mallorca last year, so I was ale to get a season ticket for this season and attend most of the home games. I've not mentioned anything about them this season because the Smaller Club thread is locked due to inactivity, but we've had quite a rollercoaster season. Staying up was a struggle, and the board controversially fired the manager that got us promoted while we were still out of the relegation zone, but it was probably for the best.
