A normal necromancer does about 4.5k-5k magic damage.

It'd be good vs people that do low damage.


getting max res on an ES sorc should not be your priority.

ES sorc without ES = dead. having alittle extra res wont keep you from dying to any normal elemental attack.

Non max resistance = 5% damage taken to life is larger than 1/12 overall HP = fhr animation.

But you wouldn't know that, would you? What are you even doing in Diablo 2? Start with scrabbles it might be appropriate to your IQ level, if IQ does indeed drop that low.

That was not my point. My point was that an invincible sorc or even a 95% ES sorc would benifit most from a large amount of mdr/pdr because a little amount of damage actually hits her life.
ES on a 95% es sorc would obviously be a priority although resistances is still worth maxing even then for several good reasons.

Also you suggested more then just MDR and PDR you suggested getting high res which is pointless for an ES sorc who will die from any decent attack once her shield is down.
