seems all chars (except Weaponist (Counterpart of the Alchemist)) - can using daggers - that's bad i think.
currently the usable main weapon combinations (minimum 3 weapon req):
axe/dagger or sword/staff and charms (ofc ee charms for alchy)
axe/club/sword/staff and charms

I'd go along with this if it cost 100 FG per char lvl to resurrect them every time they die

The Alternative class lack synergy in my opinion. ( directed at weaponist )

This to me is just an idea, put some thought into secondaries.

Do you mean that, if you pass:
1MQ you open sammy/Ronin
2MQ you open Knight/paladin
etc?

And... If some people can use scale/chain/plate, I would also make some of the chars able to use robe/padded/leather.

Leather is worth crap atm, and woudn't really help if 'everyone' could use scales xD

I am still all for the idea of alternate classes. Of course, they need some balancing, but this idea is completely new and different than any I have seen pass through the LS forum.

To all those that are bashing the non-healing Sage, ever see a sorcerer? They are all about full blown damage and raw power... Who cares if they can't heal, when they can do huge damage via casting. Let the healer heal...

All in all, a lot of time and effort, deserves at least your vote and instead of "tl;dr" just read through it and see what you like/dislike.

This would actually make Life fish far more useful. The way it is now, in cata, if the cata's worth shit, there's a healer, and you only want/need mana fish. If it's solo casting you're after, you need mana fish. This way, life fish would be a key part of your average run. Or comfreys.

Just a thought. :)

cool u did something with my idea iz, i voted opt.1 cause id like to see abit more variety, bein able to choose different paths etc..
could need some work on stats/which weaps that can be used for which class, but the basic idea is awesome!

I thought about this too -- trading will be suffering from this, since people would not need to acquire new gear if they can go through all "stages" with i.e daggers. I don't know how to get around this.
But, lot of effort put into this :thumbsup:
Great with people, who are really trying to add something to the game and community.

one way to get around the being able to go the entire way with a single type of weapon, is with adding new classes add maybe even just three new weapons :Maybe a Wand, a Dirk, or a scimitar
