keeping this alive, saw a few more welling questions in the last few days, and most of those are covered here.

I think I'm going to rewrite it soon actually. The game has changed a fair bit since I wrote this and I think in the new guide it'll just be for magicians in general instead of welling. Welling high level items to sell as transmutables used to be a great way to make fg but after 1.14.0 I think that just climbing is the way to go ;)

I disagree a little.

I find that Welling items breaks up the monotony of Arena climbs.

Plus that I have found about 1k worth of items from Wells.

I personally think it is worth it.

Looking forward to how your next guide does turn out though! ^_^

I realized right after I posted that I worded it wrong - thanks for calling me out on that.
I definitely agree with you. Welling is totally worth it - my only 100+ee item I ever found was from welling.

What I meant to say was that I'll shift the focus of the next guide from welling to climbing. I still think that you should collect all whites and well them at 64 but that has just become part of my climbing now. I haven't been welling tier I's and stuff anymore (I used to before the patch) but it hasn't really been worth it to me recently. That might just be out of lazyness though :P but you're totally right - I would never stop welling.

I agree. I generally keep all lvl 10+ stuff to well. It does add some variety to the game, and I have come to the conclusion that transmuting is not worth my time at all.

Besides, I like the challenge of the well, now I just need to get my ass some charms...

one vote here to see you put out a melee welling guide!

also whats a good price range to pay for a full weller?

just so that new players can get an idea of what's involved before they attempt to make one

also can you please touch base on the monster level when you throw items that are not level 55 into the well... say i cant afford to pay for items @ level 55 to well so I gather low level white items and try and well at a lower level when i can get better ee items. what monster level will say a teir 5 weapon create if i am level 15?

Another vote for a melee welling guide. :)
I welled quite a bit when I had a paladin and it worked *fairly* well, but my failures had to be over 25%. It would be nice to see advice on melee welling other than "NOOB, u cant well w/ a melee char" :(

Right, but since I never made one, I'm sure I will mess up it up. Feel like explaining it to me now that I have another paladin, Todd? I'll need help along the way up as well as the info on the sticky...I'm just blonde like that, yknow.
