GREAT film. I loved every second of this movie. Jonah Hill wrote and directed it, and did a damn good job. I think this got a lot of Sundance/other film festival love so I was surprised I never saw it.

Yesterday i watched Color Out Of Space (2020) and ... very very long time ago i didnt give a 5/5 but this one deserves it for sure !
There is absolutly everything i like in Fantastic/SF (photographies, interesting characters/actors, just what we need of horror, etc.)

Im still like "what the fuck" ! next movie (probably this evening) gonna have an hard moment for rating :rofl:

We just watched Host (2020) last night, because we're running out of shit to watch. I was hesitant and probably never going to watch it but then I saw that it had 100% critic score on Rotten (41 reviews) and 78% audience score (107 reviews).

It was actually pretty solid, considering what it is (low budget computer facetime or zoom scare movie etc). Had some creepy moments, etc. Much better than "Unfriended" which I feel like was a higher budget movie. This one was legit and it was only like an hour long which was perfect (didn't feel dragged on).


Worth a watch if you're bored.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2008)

Ran a little long at times but I love the writing and cinematography in this one. Good to see Tom Waits in a movie again, his was my favorite segment (I'm hugely biased, though).

The Sanctuary (2016) - Cool horror story in Ireland about changelling babies (14/20)

Fear Challenge (2018) - Horror story in a german abandonned hospital - i realy liked this, many jumps, very good photography ... BUT ... so many mistakes in the screenplay ! (12/20 for the hospital !)

Splinter (2008) - Horror movie with a very cool parasite !!! but not many things happening in this movie sadly ... (12/20 for the monster ! )

Watched the Tesla and Curie Biopics.
Both pretty bad. Tesla was horrible though. Never been a huge fan of Ethan Hawke.

Project Power, was actually pretty good. Would've preferred to see it in a series form, giving some backstory to the unit that they beta tested and the origin of the compound that they were using, but I still enjoyed it.

#1 on Netflix atm but just ok in my opinion. Jamie fox and Joseph Gordon Levitt are decent
