The Glenn Miller Story (1953), old but still a very good biographical movie with some tremendous music.

Escape from New York and then Escape from LA right afterwards

Although both movies feel very dated (which is to be expected) Escape from NY actually felt like a pretty decent movie overall.

Escape from LA was surprisingly terrible as a follow-up. I can't understand why they'd choose to just devolve the whole thing into a comic tone. I mean, basketball, hang gliders and Pam Grier playing a manly tranny? wtf where they thinking

The Old Guard

Lot of people I work with were hating on this movie but I actually liked it. Lot of questions left in answered that I don’t like. If they tied up some of the story I would have liked it better. Great movie? Hell no. Much better than I thought? Absolutely. Decent action movie if you got nothing to watch that’s already signed on for a sequel

Mid90s
GREAT film. I loved every second of this movie. Jonah Hill wrote and directed it, and did a damn good job. I think this got a lot of Sundance/other film festival love so I was surprised I never saw it.

Die Glenn Miller Story (1953), alt, aber immer noch ein sehr guter biografischer Film mit variabler Musik.

I love watching the movie the Glenn Miller story. Although the film is a bit older, I can watch it again and again. I admire the life of Glenn Miller and can only recommend the film to others.
