We all hope, but we all know they'll just never read it. I sometimes wonder if some of the kids actually can read sad.gif

In regards to the effective MF for Uniques (250%mf) does this mean that this particular amount of mf will have most unique items drop? The way I see it is if you have higher than 250% and use say 350-450% mf then you will see more magic/rares instead of uniques? Therefore if you only want to find uniques it should be at 250%?

Kill speed/damage is not an issue. The main question is if looking for only unique items should I leave mf at 250% or go as high as possible? Because I've used 350-450 mf and noticed I don't find anything but magic/rares.

You didn't really read it did you?

250 is NOT the magic number, it is simply the theoretical maximum effective MF for uniques if you had infinite MF. You have to look at the 3 functions. 250, 500 and 600 are the maximum values of effective MF for the restricted qualities. It's simply the maths of the curve.

As far as only finding rares and magic items, of course you aren't. It's just that those go up faster than uniques and sets when you add MF. Again, please just re-read it. It's all there.

What I'm getting at is that the higher your mf % is the higher the chance of dropping magic items which basically overwhelms the chance of dropping unique items, therefore doesnt that mean the higher the mf the less uniques will drop due to the much higher chance of having magic items drop?

In short, to get the most uniques to drop over anything else, 250%mf or as much as possible? That's all i need to know.
