Has anyone explained it yet?

I thought shako was an uber unique. There's no way they're actually allowing ppl to craft a grandfather sword and a seelig. That's nutty. Seems like a way to combat botting giving China no incentive to sell mats on 3rd party sites.

You have to get 5 uber drops to craft 1. This changes nothing for anyone but whales buying mats.

I think it is super simple. I try rephrase it.

If there are items which make people excited when they drops, why make those items craftable? Don't you find it strange?

Mats are hard to farm, no trading in D4
Getting 5 ubers to salvage is pretty hard.
Also what if your rng gives you 5x, 6-7x of same uber?
Idea is great considering this facts.
But honestly 5x salvage is a lot it must be 3.

Yes I understand that and already addressed that in like my first or second post we had in this thread.
It is a great tool for the time being. When they come out with more end game bosses to add to the ladder or have multiple different boss ladders they can do away with this system and spread out the loot table. But with their only being one boss dropping these items it makes perfect sense to add this tool to craft the items you want.
In the future I’m assuming they will get rid of this tool when they have more content and are able to spread out the loot table better
