Fairly underwhelming season. Too bad. So many plot holes and shoehorned references to S1...
Assuming they didn't go with the unreliable narrator angle, since they actually showed us the flashbacks:
- Why did no one find the truck tire tracks leading away from the frozen scientist clothes? The clothes were not covered with excessive snow when found, so the tracks would have been visible too.
- Clark's story, also with accompanying flashbacks, of what happened to Annie K., did not line up with her screaming in the ice caves. In the phone video she is describing what she found, when she then sees something and starts screaming profusely.
- Why would all these highly educated rational scientists all resort to animalistically stab Annie K, just because 1 of them lost his shit and started? Wat
- There was no mention of strangulation of Annie K., during the autopsy, but the flashback clearly shows this took place (possibly as the final act to kill her). And on that note, said autopsy did mention bruising from kicks, but we didn't see any of that.
You could, of course, chalk this up to people not being of a sound mind, with the influences of the pollution/eldritch gods etc etc, but honestly, that's just shit writing.
