POE is free to play
POE has an exponential amount of more options for play styles with the leveling points in a tree, items with linked sockets and gems to link for diversity how that skill will work.
POE has a 40-50 different items used as currency like diablo gold. The currency in poe has a use case of crafting items
Diablo only "crafting system" is throw some crap into the cube and transmute or go to a vendor to gamble gold, while POE crafting system has many different options to turn white items into #1 items in the game or turning rares into whites to start crafting off of
POE has hideouts you can edit and spend hours customizing to feel unique and one of a kind, Diablo you can go to a vendor to put your name on an item
POE has so many end game options it puts Diablo to shame. 16 different tiers of maps to run through, a sulfite mine to push your character to its limit, a syndicate play to upgrade items, a temple that lets you gamble double corrupting items, a heist mechanic that lets you run mini dungeons, and much more

the only pro I can see diablo having over POE is diablo is superior in PVP aspects

POE is far superior to diablo it is just a shame it doesn't get the credit

I almost gave them some due to the fact I already had blizz bal anyhow. Seriously though when can I spend this on microsoft store instead? Merger can't happen fast enough.

You know your company sucks when people can't even find things to spend their balance on. They went from creating all the games that people loved to having developers that create nothing but things people hate. The company definitely needs a good round of layoffs if the rumors are true. There's so much cultural rot within their business. All the good devs left for better companies with better pay long ago.

PoE is a PVM game. D2lod and D2R are still better than PoE.
