D2R would be the best if it had no bots but people suck and can't get a job.

If the bots can get removed then it will remain the GOAT. Hopefully AI can be used to remove them once and for all.

Wouldn’t the people with jobs have bots because they don’t have time to play? Those bots aren’t free either.

I do however agree that people suck.

d2 items/trading/crafting is perfect for me but lets be real, the gameplay/map is WAY outdated.


Things i dont like:
Personally i really dont like legendries dropping this often and not being able to trade them.
I understand we can trade rares but it makes no sense legendraies are given out like candy on Halloween.
Also the Font they used and some certain characters are not "Diablo like"



Things I like

D4 monsters
-trap you inside a wall
-surprise attack/blinkstrike
-World bosses
-some monsters can charge you
the fact that many monsters can suprise you in the way they fight is great

Gameplay
-overall fighting mechanics are great in d4
Graphics are like 9/10, still would like it to be scarier


Map
Terrain- low ground and high ground.
Map is huge, more of MMO type feel.

Realistically, what do you think the population of D2R is?

People always used to say D2 was alive because a grand total of about 50 people still pvp'd and 4,000 bots running and that's what they considered "alive".

I think a lot of people have misconceptions about what legendaries are for. I believe main purpose of legendaries is for temporary gear upgrade, and for taking the aspects within them. It probably has higher drop rate due to having different rolls on the aspects and the ability to remove them to add it into rares. So you will always be in search of either perfect roll or a better one. You can trade the aspects of the legendaries with other players.

The game has uniques and is far more rare than legendaries. Some example i have seen is like the butcher's cleaver.

but something like that should be left for magical items not a legendary item.

just the word legendary sounds like something so rare it may or may not exist.
