Considering the need for griff to reach 200 for using obsession, is light sorc’s using 200fcr more often than fire on the svs ladder?

There are still more fire sorcs than light and cold combined on ladder. Link in my signature to the scs ladder For 200, I would say they are about even since half fire sorcs run 200, and all light sorcs (except mine) run 200 for most/all duels.

Yeah saw the ladder, was curious what the 200 fcr vs 105/117 fcr breakdown was though. Debating getting back into d2 and the existence of an active svs league has me enticed, just been theory crafting the different approach’s.

I would say all fire sorcs (or most at least) have a 200 setup. At least half have a 105 setup. I would say about half use 105 often/primarily. My light sorc runs 117fcr and one other uses 117 vs cold sorcs. But in general, some people even swap their fcr depending on a matchup.

I run 105fcr only (I will use 200 here and there for fun), but I also run 105 cold and 117 light and I have a hard time transitioning from 200fcr down - so I like to stick with the lower breakpoints. 105 to 200 is an easy transition though (talking for mid duel or between duel swaps).
