RoS info sent to me by starcreaft:http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/10660725988tl;dr: some guy watched all the videos of reaper of souls news and made a list of all the changes.
Here are the ones relevant to LLD'ing:3) Gold is still valuable as cost of crafting, unsocketing gems, etc is still pretty pricey
7) Current crafting mats are almost worthless (new crafting mats for everything)
21) Regarding Enchanting, basically you can only replace one stat on one item and once you replace it you can't go back; however, you can change the same property over and over again, you just can't touch the other ones.
23) Regarding Difficulty It goes Normal, Hard, Expert, Master, Torment As baseline, Master is around MP8-9, Torment is MP10. In Torment, you can choose between Torment 1 to Torment 6 to make it even more difficult.
25) Monsters scale according to your level not the Act Level
the first big issue is that they remade the entire act system. instead of lvling from say 1-15 in the first act, and then hop onto a bigger monster level area in act 2, all the areas will scale with your level, like xxtankumsxx mentioned the page before this. this is especially problematic since you wont be able to hop on ilvl 30 areas with your hld to farm lld items. having said that, we'll probably have to make a thread somewhere on their forums to add some kind of disabling experience gain, that way we can create lvl 30-35 mfers, stay at that lvl while we farm for items for our lld toons. if we have no ways to farm lld items, it means goodbye lld since the only items available will be the ones we carry over from the original game, which is by no mean a viable option to keep the format alive to ancient and newcoming llders. this needs to be addressed ASAP
we also need to discuss how we plan to regulate the paragon levels. from the looks of it, you can get up to a maximum of like 10% attack speed, 50% crit dmg, 10 crit chance, 10% cooldown reduction, 25% max life, 10% dodge chance, 25% movement speed. iirc ironside suggested to disable everything, that way the format stays impartial to people who do not farm/lvl paragon. what I suggest is to set a limit of paragon levels. say 30 points. that way some classes may spend pts where they excel at or at what theyre lacking. it will favor diversity. id like your opinion on the matter.
