Been deadlifting here 4 years no issues. New lady at the gym was cycling and got off to tell me to quiet down in my warm up. I was making no noise and never drop weights because we're on the second floor.
I became enraged scrapped 5x5 at 450 did 585 for sets of 1 instead left space between each plate and just let the the things ring home clean.
She just watched and couldn't say anything I wasent dropping it. It's just wright clanging.
Woman got to me though. I said I wasent making noise and she said deal with the problem.
That's where you remind her that she's in a GYM...where people lift weights. If she doesn't want to hear weights, she should sign up for a cycling class. The problem is that she's a control freak that wants everything to be perfect, not your activity.
