Since I’ve taken weight lifting seriously I think I bulked for about 8 months and then cut for 6 months. I want this bulk to be a bit longer but also a bit slower so I don’t get too tubby.

Look up a lean bulk and hold yourself accountable.

I’ve been on a lean bulk and tren for close to 5 months, gained maybe 10 lbs and have added almost 200 lbs to my total.

I feel as though you should be hammering noob gains and being a whole lot stronger than a 265 squat.

Right now I’m eating about 300 calories above maintence a day. I could probably train harder tbh. But I’m not too worried about how quickly I hit my goal lifts. I get there when I get there.

If you’re eating 300 cals above maintenance and not training hard, you’re doing it wrong..

Keep grinding dude, but I’d step back and take a look at your programming, because lack of progress is a tell tale sign of lack of good programming.

Thanks B.

During my 6 month cut I didn’t try for any progress, I just wanted to maintain my strength as best as I could, which I did for the most part. Since I started bulking again this past month I’ve already seen some decent progress.

If I start to plateau before I hit my goals I’ll probanly try a more structured program like wendlers but right now I’m feeling good about where things are headed.

Gym replaced old benches with ones that have unadjustable hooks. They were clearly built for a midget. I'm pinned to the bench and can't unrack at all.

Rip bench.

nice work m9 - i rly thought kahkis guy was just going to walk into the side of your barbell. I have a lot of respect for people who have no other option but to set deadlift PRs in the middle of the floor in a commercial gym, but do it anyway.

Been deadlifting here 4 years no issues. New lady at the gym was cycling and got off to tell me to quiet down in my warm up. I was making no noise and never drop weights because we're on the second floor.

I became enraged scrapped 5x5 at 450 did 585 for sets of 1 instead left space between each plate and just let the the things ring home clean.

She just watched and couldn't say anything I wasent dropping it. It's just wright clanging.

Woman got to me though. I said I wasent making noise and she said deal with the problem.

I'd love to say fuck off. Unfortunately I ware company shirts to the gym too much and I work for a professional firm.

I'm going to stop wearing them and the jacket if she keeps going due to risk of saying it.

For sure, separate that shit.. But really, being confrontational doesn’t have to mean that you’re being a dick.
