thanks, i have another question how bad is it if i under eat and exercise quite a bit ?

here is what i did, i did eat 3 meals , eggs oatmeal, tuna veggies 1 slice whole wheat bread, salmon veggies. and then i did cardio circuit, walked alot maybe for 2-3 hours , and am about to eat a large sandwhich right now at 10 40 pm, last meal i ate was about 6pm , so how bad is it if i under eat on my body after being active ? and will it effect me negatively if i eat a sandwhich before bed or will my exercise > that ?

if you eat less than you need your body will actually have a hard time burning fat. At the same time you will put your body under excess stress and also potentially cause yourself long term damage.

You need to be eating at least within 500 cals of your BMR (minus 500 cals for cutting, plus 500 cals for bulking, and right at the baseline cals for maintenance)

Hey raynor, so i found out that i dont have time to have 6 meals a day, but 5 meals is doable

meal 1: 4 hardboiled eggs, 1/2 cup of brown rice, banana, black berries
meal 2: 1 cup of brown rice, 5 eggs fried in olive oil, 3 slices of ham, jalapenos, 3 cups of whole milk
meal 3: chicken breast /w onions fried in olive oil, a plate of spinach /w ranch, 3 cups of whole milk
meal 4: 5 egg omelete /w mushrooms, tomatoes, green peppers everything fried in olive oil, 3 cups of whole milk
meal 5: 3 cups of whole milk /w whey, some mixed nuts, peanut butter

would this be enough for 3k - 3.5k calories?

is this a good bulking diet to minimize fat gain but maximize muscle gain? (i'm 150 - 155 pounds, 5' 8'')

is that too many eggs in one day?

also: i want to hardboil and peel about 25 - 30 eggs this weekend, and marinate them in olive oil and vinegar, that way i can just grab 4x every morning to eat without too much hassle, do you think its a good idea to marinate them in vinegar?

that diet looks acceptable for 5 meals per day.

it will definitely help you to bulk. Keep an eye on your progress and see if you notice solid gains after 2-3 weeks. If you do, then keep it up. If not, we can make changes.

not that is not too many eggs. Technically you can't have too many eggs unless you are over-exceeding your macros. Eggs are one of the most perfect foods a person can eat.

Yes, marinate them in this:

Take Olive Oil + Balsamic Vinegar + Mayo + Mustard and mix them all together into a fairly loose paste. From there, soak the hard boiled eggs in this marinade and let them sit overnight (add salt/pepper if desired). After approximately 24 hours your eggs will taste unbelievable.

Hey there, ive been looking over your advice and it looks good. id like your wisdom if possible. im basically going to give you as much information as possible. and hope you can help me make a plan off it.

Stats:
Age -18
Height -6'3-4" (depends on who is measuring can never read it right) i say 6'3.5"
Weight: 255-265 daily average
Calculated BMR off google - 2515.9

Genetics - Skinniest person in family, both parents are severely overweight. So is brother.

Excercise -
Up until the new year, i had rarely worked out. and as a result me being skinny as a kid faded into me being overweight. people say im not that fat but i feel i am.
However, earlier this month. I signed up for a YMCA membership. and for the first week went mornings and did cardio with my mom, kind of a motivation thing.
She injured her foot and stopped going and i stopped too. though i want to start again.

Health -
I currently take a vitamin D pill. Doctor says i have extremely low Vitamin D. and i have knee problems. but for that i really just need help developing a way to strengthen them.

Diet -
Horrible, i honestly know i need to work on this and thats why im coming to you.

Weight -
Always stays within the same range, no matter how much/little i eat or how often i eat or what i eat.

Schedule -
I currently work Tuesday - Friday, 10-7. and Saturday 10-2.
I have a desk job, (designing jewelry on a computer).

Help -
Basically, my main objective is to just lose weight to get down to an ideal weight. buffness would be nice but not as important to me as getting down to an ideal weight.
I would like help designing a diet that involves food/supplements/workout to help me lose weight.

I do have access to a pool at the Y that i can go swim at in the morning. what is your opinion on swimming as a form of cardio?
Mainly, i would like to do cardio in the mornings. If i ended up doing weights, i would rather do them at night. but its hard as im usually tired after i get off work.

Again, any and all help would be very much appreciated. im looking forward to your post and hopefully you can help me develope a working routine for myself.

edit: if you need any other information to help please ask. you can also reach me through pm if you would like.

Thanks and Regards,
-Tanner

Hey raynor, ive been following the cutting routine for almost 3 months now, and today I cheatd (non cheat day) , family orderd fast food, which had tons of cals and carbs etc in it, my cheat day was supposd to be this sat, as carb day was LAST sat, so, If I just eat a bunch of carbs the rest of the night, can I just consider THIS my cheat day and then wait another 14 days for next?

would that mess me up at all?, I figure that, i already fell out of keto today for sure with that fast food, so why not just carb up big time and not have the cheat day sat cuz then itl take me longer to get back into fat-burn mode.
