Both squat racks were taken... The one had a guy doing ‘front squats’ with his heels on 2 plates and he wasn’t even close to parallel. His sets consisted 6 sets of random reps ranging from 3-7 with 95 lbs on the bar in the form of 2 10s and 2 2.5s on both sides.
The other squat rack was taken by a guy doing some weird, wrong version of push presses. He seemed to have severe lordosis, possibly scoliosis. 2 problems here, first was that he was in the power rack, so every time he did a rep he would hit the top of the rack. And second was he was push pressing with a squat bar.
I patiently waited for either of them to die or to gtfo... 😑 I really am not looking forward to the next few months.
I just say hey mind if I work in, very politely. Usually this is enough for the person to shit themselves and say oh this is my last set.
I always have the intention of actually working In. I don't mind moving plates.
