all i wanted from the dietitian is to know my fat % and how much calories i had to eat to be a in significant deficit but not to drastic
i told him everything he needs to know to com up with the right amount of calories for me
and it came up to 2500 calories maintain 1800 for a significant deficit while remaining healthy
good ? cleared?
2500 cals is your BMR, if you ate 2500 cals a day you would lose weight.. Even not going to the gym, as long as you aren't sitting on your couch all day watching movies and playing video games.\
Just a piece of advice from someone whose done it and played with dieting and nutrition for the better part of the last 12 years.. Do more research, don't overcomplicate it "that breeds failure", find a sustainable diet that isn't eating once per day, and eat more... If you eat 2500 cals of quality food per day, you wont gain weight.. If you keep eating 1800 cals per day for a long period of time, by the time you hit a goal, you're going to look like shit.
Dave Tate explains it so much better.
