my muscle mass remained the same after 3 weeks of not training i lost a high fat% i get all my macros in daily from my fresh vegetables, grass fed beef or pasture raised chicken or wild atlantic salmon

How are you certain of the fat loss? What tool(s) are you using to measure it?
Is your job sedentary, lightly active, moderately?
You don't do any supplemental exercise at all outside from work at this time?

Hey guys did you know that you can also lose weight by not exercising. Just eat and shove your finger down your throat!

Screw a healthy active life style, starve yourself so you can go from whale status to skinny fat.

You guys need tips just let me know.

i already went to the dietitian and had my bmr and everything carefully taken

you all act like i jumped into this clueless

Only thing down the drain is your metabolic rate. I'd say your starting muscle mass but I'm guessing you didn't have any.

QUICK SUMMARY OF THE 1ST POST FOR IDIOTS LIKE SBD THE DIET KING

1x 48h fast during 1st week of the diet to reach ketosis

3x wisdom teeth removed had to eat about 300-400 calories less then usual so 3-4 days on 1300-1400 calories


lost probably 7-8 pounds in water weight this is no surprise the 1st few pounds you lose especially when cutting out carbs completely is mostly water weight but hey you probably knew that right

so lost 10-11 pounds of fat in 25-30 days


add up the calorie deficit daily the 3-4 days i ate little less due to my wisdom teeths and the 48h fast i did and its a miracle it all adds up


now that my calories to maintain prob diminished i will obviously not lose this much this month daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa



You don’t base your deficit off of your BMR... You never eat below your BMR. You base your deficit on how many cals you burn in a day.. BMR is how many calories you burn in a day AT COMPLETE REST. Nobody is at complete rest.

Your grasp of the concept is RIGHT there, but it’s falling short.

E: your dietician said to eat below your BMR? They need to lose their license.

when you fast or do intermittent fasting you allow your body to regenerate dead cells and you improved your overall health and metabolism

so for you to say something like one thing down the drain is your metabolic rate just proves my point yet again you're an uneducated person on this subjet just stop

all i wanted from the dietitian is to know my fat % and how much calories i had to eat to be a in significant deficit but not to drastic


i told him everything he needs to know to com up with the right amount of calories for me


and it came up to 2500 calories maintain 1800 for a significant deficit while remaining healthy

That won't compensate for a 30 to 40 % sustained deficit.
