It still happens on Bnet all the time. They only want basically absolute Perf items then they dupe and sell those

dupers only dupe SUR, which can be permed into BERs, maybe also gems which can be plugged.
items are transient and cannot perm.

No they dont they dupe lots of perfect items Perfect Jewels can be permd buy socketing them into items same as a Perfect 3Skill shako with 20s can be permd buy socketing something into the shako it gives it a new item code
