Adding corrupting will changes its ID.
So the method would be as such.

Purchase 1 SUR rune
Dupe it to 150x
Make a 1 stack of BER runes. (DONT DUPE THIS STACK Only dupe SURs to keep BERs perm.)
Trade off those Perm Ber runes for PERFECT Base items and GG jewels like 40/15.
Copy base item + jewels x amount of times.
Slam base item with pboxes till you have perfect sockets.
Dupe the perfect socketed item with perfect stats.
Use WSS on that item.
It is now perm and corrupted.
Socket it with your duped 40/15 jewels
Jewels are now perm item is now perm....you now have a #1 Ladder item.

BM traders will dupe this item and sell it.
BM traders will trash the 6soc non perf items or drop them in "free games" and crash the economy.

GM traders will sell the Perfect stated item w/o duping it.
GM traders will sell the 6soc non perfect corruption rolled items for market value to keep the economy bumping.


And that's how its done boiz.

however why you say FALSE?
What I said is "socketing doesn't change item id" ?
what you said is "wss corruption will change item id".

both can be true.

that said, I agree corruption might be something new to vanilla d2 so it's possible that it's a possible way to perm/create gg items.

Because socketing a item in PD2 will change its id (Due to using a Pbox)



Next time I'll address exactly what was wrong

If u look at the context u know here socketing means "putting gems /jewel into an item"...

Well in that case we both have a point I was wrong to state your comment was false but it was misleading to say the least.

Either way Season has some to a stall anyways hopefully we can get a early bump into next season soon.
(even with ladder reset in June 4th that's where Ill be for a bit)
