well they want fgs or other currency directly, not the indirect ones. I'd say most duped HRs were dumpped here or d3org or sites the like.

Also because a lot of these people at least have the decency / intelligence to not sell on this site and only sell / buy in game

wrong.
socketing doesn't change item code.
but socketed gems/runes are perm (otherwise you get ITH items)

do you really need some type of validation when its more than obvious..??
or can you not just understand this game is 20 years old and there is ALWAYS a live dupe method on day 1 of every season..
as well as other game breaking exploits that nobody would ever share on chat or jsp and are kept to themselves..

I'd say GG perfect items are mostly ok, HRs are not.
there once in the d2 economy, all HRs (IST+) worth the same and == 5pgems
