I'm trying to figure out how this star upgrade system works... I want to get to the tier IV green stars but I don't understand how to get there. I look at the star upgrade section and it says im buying fg from someone who will receive the stars and that I won't, how do I sell mine to get stars and how much needs to be sold to get to tier IV?

In order to unlock more stars you just need to increase your "Current Total Star Value" by purchasing FG or using the Donate For Me tool.

you can post in that Post saying selling X fg for XXX Dollars, or you can use the Star upgrades https://forums.d2jsp.org/tools.php?a=3

both are pretty simple

Did you read the DF star upgrades instructions? All your questions are answered in the sticky in that section.

FYI, it’s like an ungodly amount of FG/$$ that needs to be donated for any of the good ones.
