Hello I'm new to this site but I was having a conversation in PMs and its making me wait like 5 minutes between sending PMs? Is this normal?

Hi Jack,

This is normal because your account is new, as your account matures, the wait time will reduce to just mere seconds.

Be active on the forum, post and contribute and over time the flood time will reduce.

Flood time is also in affect for posting as well

I think after like 50 posts or something the site loosens the restrictions. When I first started trading in d2r it was really hard to manage 2 people messaging me without the time out errors

Yeah haha just found this out the hard way myself, was trading my PoE stuff worth quite a bit and had ALOT of whispers but could only reply to 1 person every 5 minutes hahaha.

Make them post offers in your thread. Use the safe trading guide I linked for you.
You can pull the premise from it and move it over to PoE.
Although I hear mutterings about mentioning D2JSP and bans on PoE, maybe someone has a safe practices guide for PoE and I'll dig it up.

This reply seems to be the safest way for PoE. Always save messages to sent folder for trades just in case.
If your PM box ever feels too small, purchasing FG gives you 50 extra slots for 30 days.

You can't really post the game name and password, etc in thread You need direct messages to finalize the transaction. I would never again recommend a new user post a large trade list, I was getting spammed by like 4 people and I couldn't respond for them to join games, etc
