This is a thread for my trip reports to Vegas. If y’all aren’t familiar with these (popular on 2+2), they can be a lot of fun.

Vegas Trip: 6/19 - 6/23

This is a fully comped trip that the Wynn was so kind to offer me after they destroyed me at the blackjack table last visit. It’s my wife’s birthday, and our anniversary. We have a few dinners planned, a show or two, and mostly expect to spend a lot of time at the pool. Other than that, I’ll spent almost all my free time at the blackjack table and poker tables.

DAY 0

Tradition to post a cash pic, but most of my play will be on a marker and credit, but here’s the cash I’m bringing:

DAY 1

We flew American Airlines in the morning to give us the whole day on arrival. We normally do weekends, but my wife had a friend’s wedding yesterday, so this fit our schedule well.

First class meal, charcuterie board with a screwdriver. Not bad for airline food.



Arrived. Normal elevator with the welcome sign was broken. Cursed trip???



Wynn had a Rolls Phantom waiting for us to take us to the hotel.

Pics of our room. We normally prefer Encore because I prefer their high limit area more than the Wynn, the poker rooms, and we prefer the rest of the offerings over the Wynn, but the Wynn recently redid their rooms so we wanted to check them out. This is an executive suite, RFB, in the tower suites. Fruit, birthday cake, and champagne was waiting for us. Overall, we really like the room but it’ll probably be hard to beat Encore for us in the future, especially if they update the Encore rooms as well.
