Also, by using the "Damage Calculator" you will prove that using a Barbarian is better than using a Fighter.

But hey, you can test it all out for yourself... Bigheaded has provided the Damage Calculator for you ALL to use: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RDkoYfhQSyWW0KNRYTAWZRLxVfeYGgj-nwqOwtgtSOs/edit#gid=0

All you need to do is check out the following:

Okay, I will now use the Damage Calculator for the Feeder Classes AND their BASE stats AND Tier III Base Damage Sword & Axe to get a comparison:

Fighter: Can use Axe & Sword.
... 50 Strength / 40 Dexterity = 90
Barbarian: Can use Axe & Sword.
... 60 Strength / 25 Dexterity = 85
Rogue: Can use Axe & Sword.
... 30 Strength / 60 Dexterity = 90

Remember the following is based on the "Damage Calculator" and Base Tier III Weapons:

Fighter = 50 Strength / 40 Dexterity. = 90
... Axe = 24.50 AVG / DPS
... Sword = 24.50 AVG / DPS (?)

Barbarian = 60 Strength / 25 Dexterity. = 85
... Axe = 24.00 AVG / DPS (?)
... Sword 25.50 AVG / DPS

Rogue = 30 Strength / 60 Dexterity. = 90
... Axe = 24.50 AVG / DPS
... Sword = 23.00 AVG / DPS

Okay, this actually answers two(2) questions that all beginning players want to know.

#1 Which is the Best character class to start with?
#2 What is the Best weapon DPS to use?
... The answer to these questions ARE;
... Barbarian and Swords.

Babarian AVG / DPS using Swords are better than Axes.

... Sword 25.50 AVG / DPS

EDIT: By the way... the Rogue and Fighter have 90 STAT (5 more than a Barbarian) when using an Axe? OH WHAT THE FUDGE IS UP WITH THAT? 85 Damage Stats (str/dex) deals MORE avg damage the character classes that have 90 Damage stats... FFS... if using an Axe, why doesn't it DEAL MORE AVG DMG OR DPS?????

Can a samurai use an axe? No
Can a head hunter use a sword? No
Can a sword wield the highest damage on one hit if lucky? Yes
Can a sword wield the lowest damage on one hit if unlucky? Yes
Does a sword typically go with small damage when facing an EP or stronger and you’re close to dying? Yes
Does an axe typically give decent damage even if it’s an unlucky roll? Yes

Personally I use clubs. Cheaper than both and does similar damage to an axe imo.

Also I have a 167 ee 5 crit sword that on average does less damage than my 177 ee club…..but again that’s just from the little time that I am lvl 50-54…..

Edit I can test this more tomorrow on a 4 corner…..

I will put it in simple terms for you:

Feeder class... Sword can be used by 3 classes.
Samurai class can use a Sword, but not an axe... so Sword is more prevalent to use other than a DAGGER.
Paladin class can use a Sword and an Axe (low and behold, just use the calculator again with BASE starting stats of a Samurai and Paladin to find out what weapon is BETTER to use ... Axe or Sword.) oh, I will just work it out for you:

Okay:

Samurai Damage Stats are
... Strength 45 / Dexterity 50 = 95

Paladin Damage Stats are
... Strength 55 / Dexterity 30 = 85

Yup... Paladin wins because the extra 10 points are allocated to Strength... BUT... prove me wrong and use the Damage Calculator.

Axes crit a lot more. This was implemented to even out the stat advantage of dagger/club to sword/staff to axes. So your calculation doesnt work

Axes average more damage after you account for criticals.

Not only this.

EPs (especially ambush) are using what it feel like "reverse powershot " which makes you hit the lower end way way more.

I learned that the hard way trying to solo ambush and dealing no damage at all with a 22x ee sword. helped me and 3 shoted that monsters with an axe

I FUCKING LOVE ALL OF YOUR REPLIES and NOT USING THE FUCKING DAMAGE CALCULATOR and thinking that the increased "Critical Hit" chance (CHANCE of what... that you have to to have 35 Strength or 36 Dexterity to deal the same AVG damage or DPS if using a Tier X Sword / Axe and even higher compensates for the OUTRIGHT DAMAGE???) using an Axe actually FUCKING competes with the DAMAGE PER SECOND.

Fucking use the calculator to prove me wrong... hey, it is working correctly, but then it fails in damage calculation using a Staff vs Axe (Dex being the primary damage output of both weapons) compared to using a Sword vs Axe (Str being the primary damage output of both weapons) ... fucking use the calculator and then KICK YOURSELVES IN THE arsehole BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T DO THIS first, as I stipulated in my post also including the link.

FFS... this is why you tards fail to think outside of the box... you are just cunt struck.

Tell me where in the Damage calculator the Monster statts are taken in account.

Furthermore i dont see how it is us not thinking outside the box when you only look at shown tooltip instead of real damage numbers.

The dmg calculator only calculates the dmg shown on your profile or on the weapon in the game, not the actual dmg done.

I would highly suggest you change your tone.

OH NO... you want to now dispute that Bigheaded's Damage Calculator fails to do what? Tell you exactly how much YOUR damage output is using that WEAPON type with THE eNHANCED eFFECT and YOUR characters Prof Ranking? ... ummm, can you better explain this post? It seems you are trying to say that the monster Defense is a factor in the Damage Calculator and that Bigheaded needs to factor this shit into it?

Yup, you failed... you did NOT even bother using the Damage calculator, you just want to be right and be a dumb fuck because you failed in your response like you ALWAYS do trying to argue with me... bye... cry me a river on your way out... I am sure the smallest violin is playing a tune for you with my 2 fingers.
