To lag and 1006 disconnects than I ever have from not paying attention and missing a snag. It's a moot complaint for a litany of reasons (free game, etc.) I know, but it does drive me a little bonkers lol

I have lost countless transmutables and time by disconnects, a totally lost + the time.

There was a thread like this a couple years ago or so.

Chuckle had come back from an extended break and he made the thread about the same issue.

Njag saw the thread and posted that he understood and would fix it. In which he also changed how the durability works.


Since then, ive only lost a couple rods by 1006's. So im little surprised that your losing rods to 1006's.

It seems to come in waves, no rhyme or reason. I don't tend to mind losing a random mute but a decent glyph (lag then all three actions flash rapidly in moment and it's gone lol)... oof!

Thanks for reminding me about fishing. After seeing the fish on his account https://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?c=3&i=134333&p=507871, I'm intrigued. This might be the ideal thing to do during the zoom meetings where I can zone out.
I don't really remember the mechanics behind fishing tiers/proficiencies etc, so I don't know how helpful this is, but if you're on HC and need some fishing rods, let me know. I have some extras on these chars:

Also, some random questions for the fishermen and fisherwomen out there:
1.) Does the gear you're wearing have any impact at all on fishing (Magic Luck for higher stats?)
2.) Does anyone actually sell their fish on HC or are people skilling fishing just for use?
3.) Is there a fishing guide anywhere or something like a chart that shows the tiers of fish and what proficiency/rod you need to catch them?
4.) What's with the level you get to choose when you fish? how does that work?
5.) Is there any benefit to fishing at wells?

I can help with some of that

1. not from what we've been able to see
2. Schmoogalaboo from my guild sells his but has been busy irl. He's the main supply of nice fish on HC since Dante was banned.
3. You start getting a new tier every 5 ranks.
4. Fishing a lower level than your rank will grant less or no prof but is faster to fish. Especially for amassing lower tier ones for cooking or suffing supplies.
5. Fishing in a well drops the lowest tier every 15 levels. So at lvl 15 you wont get t1 fish from the well, Lvl 30 drops t2 fish off, etc

He made a suggestion about more item/object boxes. The ones that hold potions, comfreys, fish, etc.

Just pushed the envelope too hard and kinda spiraled out of control.
