I wasn't necessarily referring to this topic, more this forum in general.

It's been going downhill in the ~3 years I have been visiting it. I think people with 10% or higher warn shouldn't be allowed to post anywhere in the LS section. Might promote some better behavior. I also think more warns should be handed out. People running around calling others "faggot, retard, fuckface" etc should receive a verbal or 10% or a suspension if it continues.

How can we expect newer people to enjoy the time here if all they see is everyone bitching and moaning at eachother?

Bah, enough rambling, I got real stuff to do.

Could not be bothered with the last 6 pages to read... but this is an old suggestion that has been mentioned in sorts.

Marketplace Rentals
Note: Please read it fully before judging this idea.
This is where you can rent out your spare items at a price.
The person that HIRES the item pays forum gold to use.
There is of course the standard market fee involved.
Rental price is set by how many days they will rent item out. 5fg per day of use.

How this works:
When an item is put up for rent by the owner, they choose MAXIMUM days they are willing to rent it out for.
When a person wants to HIRE that item, they choose how many days they want to use it for, WITHIN the renters maximum days.
The original item does NOT leave the owners possession, instead, a GHOST image of that item is given to the HIRER.
Since it is a GHOST image, it can NOT be sold... if the person dies with the GHOST image the item is not lost.
When the chosen days are used up, the GHOST image disappears from the Hirers possession.
If there are any remaining days left over, that many will show up in the Marketplace.
You can NOT put a GHOST image up in the rental section.
If the person finds a replacement, they can return the GHOST image to MPR even if the days have not been fully used up.

I just started Hardcore not so long ago (11 MQ attempts)... if this happened I would be entirely annoyed.
1. Started with little fg, and bought junks @ 1-10fg a piece... how could anyone do that if we start from scratch?
2. In my 11 MQs, I have gained Rank9 club & Rank7 Focus Heal... take that away from me and again I will be entirely pissed.

I use to have that idea when I started in 1.15... I was wrong for thinking it...

Ahh true, but then maybe the rental value should be set to 10fg per day (24 hours)
10 days = 100fg... and then 5fg goes back into the system.
Over time this will remove alot of fg from the system.
As for Hardcore, there are less players as it is, and those that are there hoard mass items,
this idea gives them a chance to make a little bit more fg and also help other people into
Hardcore...

It will bring in more players to Hardcore and also help get outside people to build and grow here... just my thoughts

like the idea, but it wont happen .. since if the item is not lost upon death @ HC .. that will just make every1 rent the gear of there guildies/friends and that way we are safe from loosing our gear, ofc there would be some fee as u post but compared to paying for vault + xfer days i believe that it would still be well worth it to keep our items safe this way
