Lol welcome to video games. Did you seriously think your beginner gear would get you to lvl 71 (or higher).
This game is all about buying/acquiring newer and better items so you can lvl up, sell off unused or unwanted items, so you can buy newer stuff as you progress higher and higher into the game until you hit master quest. Then it’s roll your luck and regardless of the outcome, go back to lvl 1 and do it all over again. Continue doing this until you (or someone else) gets alchemist and finds the lucky combo to reset everyone back to lvl 1. Then the grind continues once again for everyone….
Also suggest you read some of the suggestions in other threads here and in character build forums to learn how to find stuff that you can sell so you can purchase those better items.
This is still the only game I’m aware of (that you can play on your phone) where you can find 1 single item worth 50,000 fg or more (although the likelihood is extremely rare) but once you get the hang of it it’s not too difficult to find/sell items worth 50 fg or more daily!
