I can socket my staff with this, but i'll wait until i get a much better staff, i don't want to waste money to unsocket relics from weak items



Level 12 - 2 points in Nature's tree, 1 point in Heart of Oak



Epic mace spawns on the Cyclops (he still didn't do much damage with it) - so much good stuff drops... but not for my character

At least this is something... and it drops from the crap small chest near the majestic one...





Level 13 - 1 point in Heart of Oak, 1 point in Survival Instict to buff the pets and one point in the skill tree

I'm tired of the Cyclops, I have bad luck finding another mastery shrine but the two level 16 wolves still get the job done, so moving on...



I'll soon be piling the useless formulas... but i'm always too lazy to check which ones can be of potential use for crafting, so sell the useless ones... that requires a lot of reading of recipes for greater and divine artifacts and don't feel like doing it, better to just keep all the junk.



Level up - 1 point in Heart of Oak and 2 in the skill tree. I will do the same thing for every level until i reach the top synergy for the wolves - Strength of the Pack. The once the Oak is maxed i'll investing some points in the wolves' synergies and climb the Storm tree a little

Approaching the Gorgon Queens - i'll test the Storm Witches scroll there, because that fight can be a bit scary with a glass canon like mine



Storm Witches in action... they did a good job but perished quickly. The fight was safe enough, i just kept running in circles so i don't get petrified by Medusa



The Storm Witches also cast the ability Squall that i will later get from my Storm tree... it's a nice enemy debuff that also deals cold and lightning damage and messes up the ability of enemy archers to aim properly, it's an amazing skill

No Stonebinder's Cuffs on quest kill. But i don't need them, they have a strength and dexterity requirement. I can't afford to waste points in strength



Steno's Wisdom - not great, not terrible - using it!



Approaching Athens and the end of act 1

Another quite rare MI item - too bad i have no planned skills that benefit from casting speed. What i need is cooldown reduction, but not right now, but on better gear with good resistances on it



Alastor was very tough with his ridiculous physical resistance. He killed the wolves and had to re-summon them. They still do damage, but they don't feel that immortal now... unless i find another mastery shrine and turn them into unstoppable machines again

Clearing the palace... time to go in my least favorite place in the act - The Minoan Labyrinth. I can't get lost there, i have memorized the right path, but man, it gets boring when you have run through it hundreds of times



The Minotaur Lord was a slow but easy fight, because he ignores my pets and chases me, i just run in circle and let the wolves finish the job



But the Telkine was rough... he has the Mind Control ability which turns my pets against me for a duration. I wasn't paying attention and was almost killed by my own wolves

Damn! Not very useful but still better than what i have, i guess... and it looks nice on the character



Damn! Wrong mastery... I will farm him till the next level, just 2 more runs. (spoiler: nothing good dropped - moving to Egypt now)

The deathless screen for the record. Now that i have a waypoint portal in Egypt, i'm going for some shrine hunting back in Megara, i might kill the Cyclops a few times as well (i did but no luck)



No luck in the shrine farm too, i'll leave it for now and try again when i get at least one point in Strength of the Pack, that way with the shrine they'll be much stronger



Finally, a staff upgrade

I added a Valor of Achilles on it



My resistances before Scarabaeus are tragic... i added this Pristine Plumage to my head piece to counter some of his poison damage



He focused his poison attack on me, and it was scary for a moment, but the pets remained unharmed and ended the fight quickly. His chest didn't drop anything good...
