read 45-50m. Was something we needed badly for a few years now. antonio is gone so not complaining.

what a steal. pls buy a real striker with that money. i am so sick of watching our attacking play. ball goes to lukaku and he fails to control it 9/10 times.
take that money and run

AWB officially confirmed for £50m. £45m upfront, earning £80k a week. Huge investment for a fullback that.

well it was because he was bought in January from the Russian league 13 years ago. Not from Leicester who do not need to sell

United’s scouting has been quite average at best since like 2006-2007, agree with you there. Other than Rafael (sold), Chicharito (sold), Blind (sold), and maybe Smalling there havent been much in terms of astute, cheap buys that turned out good (and most of then get sold cheap anyways)

nah man. there are still very good players to be spotted that doesnt cost an arm or leg.
the less obscure the cheaper they are. vida, chicharito etc.
our scouts just needs to do a better job.

To be fair the current direction of recruitment looks slightly concerning for me at least.

It's worrying close to what Dalglish was doing during his second spell at Liverpool - signing British players for the sake of it, of which pretty much all of them turned out to be crap or worse - Carroll, Adam, Downing, Bellamy, Henderson - I suppose only the last one can be considered a reasonable success
