Alexis needs to be played centrally or not at all. Hope he leads another Copa win and someone comes sniffing around for a deal.

Martial and Rashford are fit to lead the line anyway (hopefully in a fluid frontline with one other pacey forward) but they need a proper supporting midfield cast and good fullback play. Wan-Bissaka should help the right-side immensely

Last I heard it was some weird loan proposal with an obligation to buy totaling 70m over three years, and we were pushing for another 10 or so.
You could call it being cheap, but its a great return for how low i rate lukaku, a player we clearly want/need to offload and replace with a better striker.

it sounds good financially but for the team’s depth now they must pony up - United will need to sign another attacker to replace him now. James is still raw and United cannot just throw someone like Greenwood on and expect him to play like an 18-19 year old Rooney or Cristiano Ronaldo.

I’ve read rumors of getting Ben Yedder at moderately decent price - this the sort of signing to do if Lukaku is offloaded. Then keep some funds and make a run at Sancho next summer.

That’s hardly United’s biggest issue though - a run for two of the types like Tielemans/Bruno Fernandes/Ndombele etc. must be the priority.

alexis no matter how hard he tries, could be the main reason why the team isnt playing as a team. his wages is probably making de gea feel cheap and pogba under appreciated.
lukaku is even worse. fat and unfit, has a first touch of a horse. out of gas and gasping for air after a single sprint. just get him out now.
