Lingard is like one of the more senior members of the team. Rashford had Rooney, Zlatan, Carrick to look up to when he came up, now he just says up all night with Jesse 'BYE ROOM' Lingard

then again they're on holiday i don't care how much of a fool they act there long as they're winning stuff (which they're not for 2 years straight now, first time in like 30 years for United)
Yeah, it wouldn't be anywhere as jarring if we at least had a half decent season, but he's already taking the piss with his off field activities such as launching his clothing line just before the Liverpool game where we got destroyed.

Manchester United were heavily interested in Mats Hummels and offered him a bigger salary than Dortmund (€12m/year) but Hummels opted for BVB for sporting reasons as they are in the Champions League.

I'm sure this happened

Dude, CL or not, it DOES NOT matter if you're a non elite club that has no chance whatsoever of winning it and let me remind you, Prem clubs destroyed your lot this season 18:2 or something on aggregate ffs

Hypothetical situation - you're a footballer looking to leave your present football club and you've received two offers from clubs both offering your key place in the squad -

club A - fallen giant so to speak, no CL football this season, but looking to get back to the premier European competition as soon as possible at any cost - offers you £200k/w

club B - CL football, but playing in a much weaker league, little to no chance of making a dent in Europe barring a miracle, offers you £100k/w

and you're choosing club B - congratulation, you're a moron.

Seething etc

If there's a chance Hummels rejected us in order to move back to Dortmund it's only because he doesn't want to be leaving blundersliga or/and Dortmund are close to his heart

hummels said once that he can imagine to play outside of germany
that being said, its not like united will "make a dent" in europe anytime soon, hummels is 30 and will probably be retired before that happens ^_^

thats how much it hurts united to miss the champions league thanks to lazy fucks like sanchez or pogba

if it wasn’t for Citeh’s FA Cup win United would have had to qualify for EL lmao, but yeah even if so favorites wise I doubt United will get as easy as a path as 3 years ago. And the team is pretty bad compared to that group.
